Day of the Dead Bottle Cap Earrings

Here's a easy peasy fun tutorial for making yourself bottle cap earrings just in time for Halloween or Day of the Dead!



Supplies Used


Blank Bottle Caps  (click to order)


Day of the Dead Collage Sheet (click to order)

Dimensional Adhesive


Rhinestones


Awl or 1/16th Hole Punch


Punch out Day o f the Dead Skulls from collage sheet using a 1" paper punch.  Place some dimensional adhesive inside the bottle cap and coat evenly.  Place the paper circle onto the bottle cap center and squish out any air bubbles then add more adhesive over the top.   At this point you can add your rhinestones for the eyes and then set the bottle caps aside  in a level dust-free area until dry.   Once the dimensional adhesive has cured completely punch out a hole at the top center and the bottom center using an awl or hole punch (if you use the hole punch make very sure that the adhesive is complete dry and undentible). Add jump rings and skull bead or wing and earring loop to finish your earrings off.
